The 2013 Black History Month Parade will begin in the historic Sweet Auburn District on the corner of Piedmont Avenue and Auburn Avenue in downtown Atlanta, Georgia.

Route: Starts at the corner of Auburn Avenue & Piedmont Avenue continues West on Auburn Avenue to Courtland Street. Turns left on Courtland Street to Edgewood Avenue. Turns right on Edgewood Avenue & continues West to Park Place turns left on Park Place. Continues South on Park Place/ Pryor Street ends on Pryor Street between Upper Alabama Street & Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive (Underground Atlanta).

Special screening of the movie "42" begins at 4:00pm

The parade will begin at 2:00pm .
